SENSOREX - GENERAL PURPOSE pH ELECTRODES

These high quality electrodes will provide excellence performance at a price that offers superior value. These electrodes may be used for General Purpose applications. They are provided with the cables fixed and hard-wired to the electrode, or with our popular cartridge style connections.

The General Purpose pH electrodes are available with spherical or flat pH sensitive glass bulb designs. Choose either single or double junction construction.

Fixed Cables with Threaded Body

Sensorex is pleased to announce the availability of our new low cost submersion and in-line pH electrodes. These rugged pH electrodes are provided with a molded Ryton body that is available with a 1/2" or 3/4" male NPT threads on each end. You may use these electrodes in a standard threaded 1/2" or 3/4" pipe Tee, or submerse them into a tank.

The Ryton body provides excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of chemicals. Ryton provides excellent temperature resistance up to 100 degrees C. Pressure rating is 0 to 100 psig (7 bar)

Also available are PVC Round nipple bodies S260C and S260CD, and PVC Hex Nipple bodies, S260, S261, S262 and S263 series. The PVC bodies are rated up to 65 degrees C.

Pressure rating is 0 to 100 psig (7 bar).

Submersion can be accomplished by connecting the assembly to user supplied 3/4" threaded pipe coupling and extension pipe. Simply specify length of cable and connector along with the part number to complete your order.

Quick Disconnect Cartridge Style Electrodes

Our popular S222 series electrodes are an easy, and very economical means of measuring pH in-line in pipe Tee fittings, or in submersed into tanks.

For in-line use, Sensorex Electrode Glands are designed to be used with the S222C and the S222CD Combination pH/Reference Electrode. Available in 1/2" NPT and 3/4" NPT versions, they can be used at temperatures up to 100 C (212 F) and pressures as high as 100 psig. The glands are reusable, and fit standard threaded pipe Tees.

The gland uses an O-ring seal and has a stainless steel gripper to assure electrode retention. Gland materials contacting the sample are polypropylene and buna-N. For the electrodes, materials contacting the sample include epoxy, silicone rubber, nylon and glass.

Select the system which best fits your requirements from the following table or contact Sensorex for assistance. Note that these pH electrodes come with a 76 cm (30 inch) standard cable length and a BNC connector at the end. When ordering, please specify your connector and length of cable length if your requirements are different.

With the use of 1/2 inch NPT threads of the S653 Cable Assembly, the quick disconnect S222 electrodes can also be used in Submersion Applications. This configuration reduces maintenance time when the electrode has to be removed for calibration or cleaning. In addition to the S222C or S222-ORP electrode, also order the S653 Cable Assembly and specify the required cable length.
